Coronation Medals

On Saturday, January 25, 2025, it was my pleasure to emcee a very special occasion. In a ceremony held at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre, twenty local residents were awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal. The recipients, chosen from fifty nominees, were recognized for their significant achievements and outstanding commitment to service and advocacy to encourage participation in creating strong, healthy communities. Recipients along with family and supporters were on hand to receive the prestigious medal, presented by Lisa Marie Barron, Member of Parliament for Nanaimo-Ladysmith. My personal congratulations to the winners, and my thanks for making this region a better place.
