Thanksgiving

Hopefully the long weekend has allowed everyone to pause and consider how fortunate we are to live in this part of the world. Yes we have our problems like everyone else, but surely we need to be grateful for all we have: a thriving city in a beautiful part of the world, and a stable democracy which allows us to conduct civilized and fair elections. And of course we should be thankful for family and friends who mean so much. There is much to give thanks for, and it's important that we take time to do that.
